Grant comes to town!

Stacie and Grant came by yesterday and spent the night with us. He is such a sweet baby and so tiny- oh how fast that will change...
Here are the pictures of the two boys-Brady was really not happy about taking pics today but Grant didn't seem to mind at all.

Pass the broccoli please

Brady had his first real taste of food today and while he did a lot of gagging, he actually ate the majority of his homemade broccoli puree. We will stick to the broccoli for the next week (hope it doesn't make him to gassy) and then we are on to yams. Below is a video of his mealtime, it's a long one but funny at times.

Christmas and 4 month Well Baby Visit

Brady had his Well Baby visit this week and the first thing out of the docs mouth was "what a big boy!" According to his weight and height he is 7 months old, so yes, we have a big boy. The doc says he's on track to be around 6'3 to 6'4- it's amazing how they can already project that stuff.

Weight- 16lbs 13oz 85th percentile

We had a wonderful Christmas, Brady was spoiled with tons of gifts. I've officially laid down the law on gifts- he can only have them at Christmas and on Birthdays. I don't want him thinking he gets a toy for going to Target and a child can only play with so much (besides, we are running out of room). There are many ways to spoil a baby without buying them things so we are going to explore these options. Enjoy the pics from Christmas.

Brady and my mom playing with his new bird bath toy. It sounds like a toilet bowl flushing, nice huh?

Can you tell who's more excited?

His first ride on the rocking horse-he loves it!

Happy Holidays!

I spent the better part of the morning trying to get a decent picture of our little elf in one of his holiday outfits but he really didn't want any part of it. We're looking forward to having my family here for Brady's first Christmas- I'll post more pics next weekend. Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday and best wishes to all of you celebrating your baby or babies (Laura and Eldad) first Christmas and/or Hanukkah . I wish we could all get together and have a little eggnog, maybe next year...

It's Christmas time!

Well I don't know about you but around here we've already got the house covered in lights and the Christmas tree is lit. We did all the decorating last Friday and Saturday. Bryan even got stuck on the roof while putting up lights but I was to busy enjoying a visit from Meredith, Greg and Audrey, it's a good thing Bryan's mom stopped by to help him off- it was cold out that day! Spike and Brady were both mesmerized with the lights on the tree and the reflection of the ornaments in the photos above. I didn't post a picture of the outside lights, we still have a few small adjustments to make as it currently looks like the Griswalds live here...

Almost There

Pretty soon Brady will be able to hold his head up on his own. I've become a little impatient and already started sitting him in his Bumbo seat- he's so cute in it!
